When I began working with Calvin, 2 months ago, I was fed up with myself. I turned 39 this year and somehow I felt that I knew less about my body than I did when I was 12; each time I think I've got it figured out, everything changes. I explained to Calvin how my disrupted sleep and poor eating habits had been guiding me into an emotional tailspin. At 70lbs overweight and quickly approaching 40, I was fearful that my chance to improve my health and look the way that I wanted was slipping away from me.
Calvin educated me, helped me build a meal plan / schedule, and with daily check-ins, could explain to me what was happening in my body and why. I felt powerful, having this knowledge bestowed upon me. Understanding myself has made it easy for me to recognize what my body wants / needs. After a month of working together, I had noticed that my sleep was now far more rejuvenating, a patch of plaque psoriasis that I'd had on my knee for several years had disappeared, my body began to feel and look lighter and, for the first time in 5 months, I was able to face my mirrored reflection. My skin is the clearest and most radiant that it has been in over a decade.
